Land Acknowledgment

Community Living Parry Sound is situated on lands covered by the Robinson-Huron Treaty of 1850, the rightful territory of the Ojibway, Odawa, and Potawatomi peoples. We are grateful for the gifts and strength of those who came before us in caring for the land, the water, and life itself. As is our duty as treaty people, and our responsibility to truth and reconciliation, we are committed to learning and respecting the traditional knowledge and teachings held sacred here.
