If you are passionate about the prospect of people with intellectual disabilities discovering their own unique and exciting place in the world Commence 2015 is for you. Whether you are an Educator, Student, Service Worker, Friend or Family of a Student who has an intellectual disability, we have an exciting mix of professional perspectives and lived experiences to draw inspiration from. This conference will focus on how to use your community and a supportive team to get you where you want. We will focus on crafting, creating and developing roles, relationships, and places of belonging that are uniquely meaningful and engaging. Conversations will also explore cutting edge employment strategies that fit a persons unique set of skills and passions.
